We woke up at 12.ooam in the morning. We set off to penang at about 2.ooam. I was very tired and sleepy. When I was in the car, I slept throughout the journey.
When I woke up, we were already in Butterworth about to cross penang bridge. My father told me that it was the longest bridge in Asia. After we cross Butterworth we check in the hotel. The hotel was big and spacious.
We went for lunch after w put our things down in the hotel. We ate shark fin for lunch. I ate lots of shark fin because it was my favourite. After we had our lunch , we went to the temple. The temple was called 'The Bat Cave'. There was a cave in the temple itself with alot of bats hanging from the top.
There were 4 steps in praying. 1st we pray to 大伯公. 2nd we wash our hands at the stream. 3rd we splash water on the turtle heads. 4th we touch the turtle3 times. My mother told me by doing all this can bless me in school works. Again we went to another temple. We took the inclined lift to see the largest Guan Yin statue in Asia. We made a wish for $1 there. Imade a wish for the safety for my family. I hang my wish on a tree structre.
After the trip to the Guan Yin temple we went to the famouse Gurney Drive.I ate a bowl of noodles, the noodles was yummy! Iwish I can come back to have another bowl.
